Design Within Reach Toronto

This is Design Within Reach’s first retail store in Toronto. The store is located in the lower levels of a 5 story building located in a historic district.

One of the more important design task of the project is to introduce a connecting stair that services three levels of the retail space. The way finding and sequence of construction process proved to play a pivotal role is solving the historical district restriction and timing issues.
