Penang

The project in Penang is a housing competition submission organized by the Malaysian government in re-imagining the environmental construct of a low-income housing project in the country.

The design advocates reuse of the existing building to reduce the burden of relocation.

The scheme encases the exterior of the existing building facades with 'green wall' and interjects the building with more landscaping and social-cultural footprints to cultivate a more sustainable living environment whilst harvesting the country's climate and natural resources.
