DWR San Francisco

The DWR store in San Francisco is one of the earlier rollout stores that were commissioned. The store tested out zinc paneling rainscreen system and a clear front-loaded storefront system that became the branding image of subsequent DWR retail stores.

The store also carved out an outdoor deck with an arrangement of cor-ten steel planter boxes as an entry feature. This project was conceived at DFA.
