Central Park Tower
The project is one of the trilogy projects that was conceived at DFA as its love letter to New York City as architects and city dwellers. The Jackie Kennedy pond in Central park is one of the most underutilized acreage of land in Manhattan since the filtering pond has been decommissioned.
At the same time, ultra-luxury apartment buildings are sprouting up around central park locking in exclusive views reserved only for the billionaires around the world. The tower is a gesture of giving access of the view to the rest of the New Yorker while functioning as a siphoning filter that cleans the polluted pond.
